I seem to just get enough from the garden to eat a few spears with every meal.

Delicious.

Best with butter and lemon but lovely in omelets too.

They are claiming 80 oF for today!  And the tulips have yet to flower.  They may come on pretty fast now.

In the meantime, in a blaze of color, I have forsythia:

That’s better.  Yesterday, I even got out to do some gardening.  Hopefully I will do the same later today.   Unfortunately, the sun shows up the smears on the dirty windows.

This is the second Saturday in a row that it has rained.  I am finding it a little frustrating as I had hoped to go to Longwood Gardens today.   Still my fridge is getting cleaned and Murphy seems to like having me around to bully.

Unlike yesterday’s begonia, this one is perennial dying back each winter. It is in the one of the shadiest places and obviously loved the wet summer as it has bloomed better than ever before.
