Yarn Yarns – Finished for Friday

Four leaf clover washcloth

This only took me a few hours of concentrated knitting to finish. The pattern is here. It is a four leaf clover which is closely related to the Irish Shamrock. That’s all I’m sayin’. My LYS chose the patterns.

I knit it using Rowan Handknit Cotton with size 4 mm needles. It took slightly less than one ball.

Here is a picture of the centre detail:

I also completed Lisa’s hat [contact me Lisa so you can have it]. Measuring her head [Yeah, I should have done that first but where is the fun in that ?] was a great help because I found out that I was done! Hopefully it will fit.

Lisa's Hat

This was an adaptation of Barbara Walker’s Top Down Hat using Lucy Neatby’s Celestial Merino with size 3.75 mm needles.

  1. My hat is pretty! I needed to send you an email anyway, this is just a bonus incentive.
