Yarn Yarns: Finished Project Friday

Lizard Ridge Washcloth

Lizard Ridge Washcloth – This is now a finished object as I wove in ends after applying i-cord earlier this week. It should be blocked, but it can be added to my pile of washcloths. I used one panel from the Lizard Ridge Afghan pattern A using Katia Jamaica cotton. I edged the washcloth with applied i-cord:

and then I added a loop so that it could be hung on a hook in the shower:

I really like the way it turned out. Katia Jamaica yarns have long repeats which look good in this pattern, better than in the swirl washcloth for which I bought this yarn.

Projects on the Horizon:

EZ’s Rib Warmer. The Knitting Knutz just bought the new DVD from Schoolhouse Press and I want to cast on NOW. I will probably knit it for my mum. As a guild we are going to do a rib warmer knitalong.

Kaffe Fasset’s Squiggle Waistcoat. From Kaffe Knits Again. It will also be for Mum. I ordered Shine Sport from Knit Picks and will see how that works out.

Knit Picks Tie. For Dad. I cannot knit everything for Mum, even though I am sure she would like me to.

  1. […] I love the way the stripes came out. This yarn would be another good candidate for a Lizard Ridge Washcloth. […]
