While I was in New Hampshire I had time and energy to catch up with my mystery stole and finished clue 3.
My friends gave me some help with photography. This picture is much clearer than the ones I’ve taken in the past. The black background really emphasizes the lacy texture. The color is truer too.
I am making the short version of the mystery stole as I am short and I am a very loose knitter. After Clue 3, we are a third of the way through so my finished stole would have been over 200 cm long. Following the instructions for a short stole, means that my finished stole will still be 170 cm long. Which is still quite a bit longer than I am tall!

I love the color of your shawl. On my monitor it is a blue and I don’t think I have seen anybody else working it up in a blue. Keep up the great work!
Every one likes my color choice. It is actually teal – a bit greener than shown on the monitor.
