Books

There isn’t going to be a Book of The Month this month – not that I didn’t read anything in December. I read a lot. I just need a break because this month is National Just Read More Novels Month as designed by Yellojkt at Foma. So I am busy reading novels. I just read a strange one by Kazuo Ishiguro, called “Never Let Me Go”. He also wrote “Remains of the Day”. Never Let Me Go is a sort of science fiction and a little bit creepy but only made me feel slightly uncomfortable.

I hereby claim to be a 2007 NaJuReMoNoMo winner:

  1. You may have already covered with one, but I’d recommend ‘Bel Canto’, by Ann Patchett to anyone who appreciates an exquisitely crafted story.

  2. A great novel, but unfortunately not new to me. Thanks for the suggestion though.
