Lab Cat’s Blogaversary

I think I started blogging here at the end of September last year, but the first few months were messed up a little because I had surgery and stuff going on. So I decided that the first few posts were gestation and my blog’s birthday would occur when I reached 10,000 readers.

That must have happened some time earlier today. So I now officially declare Oct 15 as my blogaversary.

This probably should be a deep meaningful post about how successful I’ve been and what blogging has meant to me and how it has changed my life. I am far too British for all that retrospective thinking. I’m enjoying myself being part of the Science Blogging community and people are obviously visiting and reading my posts. So I will continue in the same vein as before.
I would like more comments. So please add your pennies worth (they can be any currency) and let me know how I’m doing. Are there any topics you would like me to write about in the future?

  1. Happy blogiversary, as well! One should always be free to choose one’s own birthday anyway. I’ll be very excited to meet you at the NC SciBloggerCon!

  2. Thanks for your comments. At least now I know how to spell blogiversary!

I am excited about the NCSciBlogger Conference too and meeting everyone there.
